Skip to content Home About Contact ← Older posts First Post of The Year? What? Posted on March 21, 2017 by admin I can’t believe I am so behind in posting to this blog. I had better write something before people complain. It’s not that I haven’t been finding deals. It’s just that I’ve been very busy like everyone else. I will blog about what is new that I have found and both have to do with Walmart Canada. You can buy groceries online at and book a time to pick up as long as you are in the GTA, Ottawa and Edmonton only. If you order a minimum of $50 and use the promo code SPRING, you will get $20 off with $3-$5 charged for having your order processed and ready for you. This deal ends at the end of the month. The other deal is for and you can order 40 4 X6 prints for only $1 for next day pickup by using the promo code 40for1 and is on special until April 3rd. Promo code is only valid once per customer account. I probably have too many bbqs but Weber is the best and I always wanted a Weber charcoal bbq that is the kettle style. Last month Airmiles had a special on for gold card members and it was only 950 air miles versus 1450 air miles. Retailing for $150 normally plus taxes, the bbq was delivered for free without tax. With a 10 year warranty I could not resist. It is 22.5 inches diameter and can’t wait to use it asap. Coupgon is a new app that is for specific grocery stores and is great since there are sometimes free items up for grabs usually for new products. I’m trying the Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats with Blueberry. Not bad but a little too sweet for me. I needed a new glove for softball and originally bought a glove at Play It Again Sports for $99.99 brand new and found a cheaper one on Ebay for half an inch bigger! I ended up saving $40 as it was only $45 US with $10 US shipping. I returned the original glove I bought on the last day that I could and was glad I did not take off the tags. National Sports had a Friends and Family event that was not advertised and had 20% off everything and 10% off clearance items. I was able to get a batting helmet for $27.99 down from $34.99 and a pair of all leather batting gloves for $7.99 down from $29.99. You had to show the add on your phone or print out a coupon. Last week I went to Centra and bought on sale DanActive Probiotic Yogourt that comes in a drinkable bottle for $5 for 2 packages of 8 each which really is half price as one package retails for $5. I returned some things to Costco without a receipt. The one I go to is really good at refunding. I returned some curtains that I bought a couple weeks ago as they are the wrong colour and a clothes rack that kept on falling down when I put clothes on it. Larry the Liquidator had Crystal Light on sale for $1 a package which normally retails for $3.52 each. I bought a bunch of them including the ice tea for pitchers that come in a package of 4 and different flavours for individual bottles which comes in a package of 10. These are all sold out now and did not last long in the store. I will try to blog more often as there is just too much too not talk about. I just helped a friend buy a big tote container filled with Lego for $40 which probably would collectively retail for $300 if not more on Facebook from the buy and sell. Posted in Deals, Freebies, Tips and Tricks | Tagged | Leave a comment Deals Deals Non Stop! Posted on December 21, 2016 by admin I have to blog before I forget about all my recent deals. A couple weeks ago Bath And Body Works had a one day sale for 3 wick candles for only $10.50 and it applied to both Bath and Body Works and White Barn; the sister store next door. The regular price is normally $25-33.50 each. If you combine a coupon which is either $10 off a $30 purchase or even better, $20 off a $50 purchase it works out to be even cheaper. The end price I paid worked out to $6.50 each! Because I went to Cookstown Mall and I have the Tanger Club membership; I reached the $1000 in purchases for the year and received a $10 gift card linked to my card. Whenever I go shopping there, I ask for receipts from the other family and friends to be added to my total. There is a facebook ad right now for Cookstown mall for $10 free gift card until the end of the year also. You have to show it to the service rep at shoppers service. I also have another free $10 gift certificate from Eddie Bauer so my intention is to go shopping at that mall again on Boxing day and perhaps take full advantage of the extra $30 I have to spend there now! Late last week I just ordered a Honeywell whole home humidifier for $99.43, a savings of $$70.56. I have been looking for one for some time and finally found one. There was a shipping fee online but I was okay with it. The in store price was $119.99 so with delivery, my cost was still a bit less since the delivery fee was $15. I ordered this from Princess Auto which is a great store. It is deceiving since it is like a Canadian Tire and surplus store all in one. I bought replacement filters on clearance in store for $4.83 each versus $12.99; a $8.16 savings. I ordered on a diffuser/humidifier with 4 free accessories with free shipping and no tax for only $32.99! I think the regular price was $50 and the average price of each accessory was $9.99. With the use of essential oils, this will be good for aromatherapy and help with the dry air during the winter months. I apologize now if it is in no particular order. Panera Bread members were able to have a free bagel a day every day in November. I never had their bagels so it was a great way to try them out without paying! I really enjoyed the sprouted grain one as it had the least amount of calories and was probably the healthiest. You can sign up for a membership for free online and when you go to the store ask for a physical card by providing them your telephone number. You get a free dessert for signing up I believe and for your birthday too. A few days before Black Friday, the Metro News had an advertisement for Cookstown Outlet mall which was a great freebie while quantities lasted. If you clipped the ad at the bottom of the page and brought it to shoppers services anytime during that weekend with identification, you get a free $25 gift card no questions asked and it had no deadline to use either which was a bonus. Rushing after work I was a little worried there would be none left but there was no lineup and most people didn’t know about this promotion. While waiting for the gift card ... Whois
